Campaign marking the 100th anniversary of Donat Mg wins the 2008 Prizma award
On Thursday 23 October 2008, during the gala evening of the 12th Slovene Public Relations Conference held at Terme Olimia, the Public Relations Society of Slovenia (PRSS) presented the Prizma award for excellence in public relations campaigns.
In the Effective Use of PR tools or PR Communication Programmes in Integrated Communication Campaigns category, the 2008 Prizma award went to the communication campaign 100 Years of the Donat Mg brand, entered by Droga Kolinska and the Futura PR agency.
The expert jury also awarded the programme the maximum number of points, justifying its decision as follows: "The implementation of the project was operationally very demanding, since the communication activities were logically intertwined both at the specialist, national level and at the local level, which included various groups of stakeholders and therefore required the skilful coordination of a variety of relations in the local community.
The celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Donat Mg brand is an integrated, creative, positive project, full of stories, that radiates the ambitions and also the courage of the team that prepared and implemented the project." And this is exactly how it was. In the words of the team – Polona Vagaja and Tatjana Erban of Droga Kolinska and Vesna Škrbec and Tina Vidergar of Futura PR – the winning formula was based on synergy, positive attitude, sacrifice and courage. The team would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to the project's success and express their gratitude to the Prizma 2008 jury and organising committee for their courage and hard work in the development of the PR profession in Slovenia.
